Online Class - Wonderland Woods

A perfect opportunity to paint with friends or why not go it alone with this guided session that lasts 1.5-2 hours! Explore your creative side and make a beautiful painting.  Love the painting but cannot make the date and/or time?? Don't panic! Book on and you will be sent the unedited live video within 24 hours after the session.

I will provide detailed instructions as you paint along with me, all through the Zoom platform. You don't need to set up so I can see your painting, just so I can see you are there, then just watch and follow my guidance from start to finish for a beautiful painting!

Whether you are looking to use your own supplies or purchase them from me, I have you covered! For the convenience of my customers, I have listed all the necessary items and you can find what you need in the shop on my website too..

I suggest painting on a 9×12 inch canvas or similar such as A4 but using an easel for this session is optional. If usimng acrylics like me, it is important to remember that acrylic paints do not come off clothes easily, so put on an apron and older clothes before you begin and cover surfaces.

If you want to use the same paints I will for this session, be sure to pick DecoArt Americana. These paints are free-flowing and easy to use. It is worth noting, if you would like a similar result in your work compared to mine, that paint of a similar consistency would be needed but of course, not essential! My paint comes in bottles but if you buy acrylic in tubes, this will be thicker.

In addition to the supplies mentioned above, it's important to have a large flat brush (1 ½ inch or something similar) and a round head brush around a size 2 or 3 plus a tiny brush.  It is worth having a few bruches in general on hand so you can find what you enjoy working with.

It's essential that you make sure you have a palette, pot of water and either a cloth or kitchen towel before starting. You will need these!

Kindly be informed that, bookings cannot be refunded. The expected duration of the workshop is 1.5 - 2 hours and it can last longer or shorter depending on the amount of questions asked during the session or if there are any delays to start with. Every piece of art you make will be unique! It's impossible for me to create something exactly the same as before, and your artwork will also be different to others. Don't forget, the most important part is having fun while creating it!
