Mandrake Clay Workshop 🪴✨

Come and create your own wonderfully weird Mandrake-inspired clay creature in this special autumn workshop at The Cellar Bar on Felixstowe Seafront.

These are going to be proper statement-sized pieces, built around a real terracotta plant pot rather than a tiny ornament, so you’ll be taking home something really substantial at the end of the session.

Using air-dry clay, pigment powders and mixed-media details, you’ll build your Mandrake around the pot, adding glossy eyes, wild faux foliage, moss and long wispy roots to give it loads of character.

No experience is needed at all. I’ll guide you through the whole process step by step, and everyone’s Mandrake will end up looking completely different — grumpy, startled, cute, creepy or somewhere in between!
