Free Online Class - Moonlight Animals

A perfect evening spent with friends or alone with this guided session that lasts about one hour! And the best part? It's free!! I love to paint and I believe it's good for the soul so I am offering a free online art class most months to give more people to discover the peace you find when you paint. The only cost is the materials but you can use what you already have, grab some bits from a discount store or order from me. Whatever suits you best!

Explore your creative side and make a beautiful painting. I will provide detailed instructions as you paint along with me, all through the Zoom platform. You don't need to set up so I can see your painting, just so I can see you are there, then just watch and follow my guidance from start to finish for a beautiful painting!

Whether you are looking to use your own supplies or purchase them from me, I have you covered! For the convenience of my customers, I have listed all the necessary items with links on my website.

I strongly suggest painting on a 9×12 inch canvas or something sized A4 but using an easel for this session is optional. Remember that acrylic paints do not come off clothes easily, so put on an apron and older clothes before you begin and cover nearby surfaces if using that.

Paints you need if buying your own are:

If you want to use the same paints I will for this session, be sure to pick DecoArt Americana BUT.... you can use anything you would like really. Poster paint, water colour, totally up to you. Cheap paints from the Pound Shop even, just whatever you have to hand and just join in! It is all about taking the time to get creative, what you use is up to you!

Brushes for this session are a large flat brush (1 ½ or something similar), small brush about a size 3 and tiny/small brush.

It's essential that you make sure you have a palette, pot of water and either a cloth or kitchen towel before starting. A paper plate or similar will be fine.

Kindly be informed that, bookings cannot be refunded but may be transferable to a similar value session. The expected duration of the workshop is 1  hour and it can last longer or shorter depending on the amount of questions asked during the session or if there are any delays to start with. Every piece of art you make will be unique! It's impossible for me to create something exactly the same as before, and your artwork will also be different to others. Don't forget, the most important part is having fun while creating it!

Please note that sessions are only available to UK participants only at this time. Worldwide audiences will be welcome in the future. 

We cannot provide any technical support for zoom as settings and devices all vary. We are artists not IT people so have very limited knowledge on technical stuff. We cannot accept any responsibility for access or visual issues that may be experienced.

Free zooms do not include a recording after the event. A video of the tutorial will be available at a later date.
